Steve Odell has been in the insurance business for over 25 years in just about every capacity from risk management consulting to sales management; from marketing to insurance company relations.
He currently holds the title of Chief Executive Officer of Odell Studner. Prior to June 1, 1998, he was a senior partner with the Clair Odell Group before the business was sold to Mellon Bank. Steve held the title of Senior Vice President and was a member of the executive committee of the Clair Odell Group since 1998 when they became a bank-owned insurance agency.
Steve has been a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) since 1983. In 2003, the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors honored him for his 20 years of leadership and commitment to continuing education and professionalism.
Steve currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Certification Institute, which was created by NAPEO to assist in credentialing PEO's for their commitment to risk management respective of Workers' Compensation. He previously served a two-year term as part of an exclusive group of 13 brokers on Wausau's National Broker Council, and currently serves on Wausau's Eastern Regional Broker Council.
In 2005, Steve was appointed to ASA's Staffing Industry Advisory Council on Workers' Compensation Risk Management. He has also been a Staffing PAC Contributor and a member of ASA's Industry Leader Council.
