Dan is founder, chairman, and CEO of Helpmates Staffing Services of Irvine, CA, which specializes in office support, accounting, information technology, and distribution services. A founding member of ASA's Orange County chapter, Dan served on its board from 1981 to 1987. He also served as California chapter president from 1984 to 1986. Dan has served on the ASA board since 1985, was the association's 1991 president, and was chairman for two conventions: Hawaii in 1990 and Palm Springs in 1998. He currently serves on the ASA political action committee and chairs the association’s workers' compensation task force which includes participation on the ASA/RCS Workers’ Compensation Risk Certification Advisory Council.
